Erecto[3] was a Meccano-like construction system. The parts look like early Lynx from 1946/7. It was made in the UK from an unknown company, however the parts may well have been bought in from The Bay Manufacturing Co. (the manufacturer of Lynx).

Just "ERECTO" THE YOUNG ENGINEER'S BUILDING KIT on lid. No manual. Parts including '60s MECCANO, & originals (?), as early ½" LYNX including 4*7 holes Flanged Plate(s), 4,12 holes Strips, 2*2 holes Angle Bracket, 1" Disc, Hook. *1In Disc. *2Bolt plain brass.
