Stabo was a construction system which used aluminium tubes connected by plastic couplings. It was made in East Germany, in the early 1960s. There were four main sets - 10, 20, 30 and 40, set 15 containing card infill panels, together with 14 individual parts boxes (1 to 9, 1 to 14 and 16) Below you can see a purchase invoice for some Staba sets to a Montreal shop dated January 1964.
