Trix metal construction system originated in Germany where it was manufactured from 1930 to 1999. it was also manufactured in France from around 1932 to 1968. A website dedicated to Trix with lots of photos and manual downloads is http://www.trix-metaal.nl/

Trix(France) also made sets for Delespaul under the 'Montix' name. These were identical to Trix[3] but in different colours.
